Japanese Martial Arts Center (JMAC) in Ann Arbor Finds New Home

The Japanese Martial Arts Center (JMAC), an Ann Arbor-based martial arts center, has found a new home on Boardwalk Drive on the south side of Ann Arbor.

Since the founding of JMAC in 2006, they have been offering training and classes rooted in traditional Japanese martial arts. To stay true to their traditional practice, they often bring in high profile martial artists from Japan, where many of their students have also visited.

Oxford Companies donates over $100k worth of athletic equipment to Saline and Huron High Schools

Oxford Companies recently donated over $100,000 worth of athletic equipment to Saline and Huron High Schools.

The equipment was left by One on One Athletic Club shortly after Oxford purchased Boardwalk Commerce Center on the south side of Ann Arbor. Oxford representatives contacted the local high schools to see if they were interested in taking any of the pieces of equipment for use in their schools free of charge. Saline and Huron High Schools were the first to respond and accept the offer.

Oxford featured on Mlive for recent $10 million deal on Ann Arbor’s south side

Oxford was recently featured on Mlive for completing their $9,750,000 acquisition of 555 Briarwood Circle. The building consists of 80,755 square feet and is situated on 5.84 acres.

This acquisition expands Oxford’s commercial portfolio to more than 2.2 million total square feet, including more than 1.4 million square feet on Ann Arbor’s south side. Current tenants include Rehmann, Real Estate One, and Power Engineers among others.

Oxford CEO, Jeff Hauptman Recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business

Oxford’s own Jeff Hauptman was recently selected by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the 50 names to know in real estate.

Crain’s Detroit named 50 key players who are making things happen in the metro Detroit commercial real estate scene. Hauptman, who is based in Ann Arbor, has been in commercial real estate for 26 years.

Oxford's Recent Purchase of the Concord Center and Other Properties Featured on MLive

Oxford Companies, Ann Arbor's largest commercial landlord, is continuing to add to their expanding portfolio with a recent $14.4 million purchase of the Concord Center on Ann Arbor's south side. The deal included 92,000 square feet of retail, office, and restaurant space.

Ann Arbor Deals of the Year 2015: Triple Honors for Oxford

 Oxford Companies had another successful year at Ann Arbor’s 2015 Deals of the Year Awards.of the Year Awards. As one of this year’s biggest winners, the company took home an impressive three awards. Jeff Hauptman, the company’s CEO, was granted the A2Y Chamber award for “Small Business Person of the Year” as well as MLive’s “Executive of the Year”. The company also received the FastTrack Award, granted by Ann Arbor SPARK, for its fourth consecutive year.

Oxford Marks Completion of Ann Arbor’s Largest Mural

Oxford Companies and co-sponsor Magellan Properties held a mural dedication on October 21st to celebrate the completion of the largest public artwork in Ann Arbor.  The event commemorated the partnership that brought to life a 4000-square-foot mural, which spans the lower wall of Oxford’s downtown headquarters and continues four stories up the adjoining property owned by Magellan Properties.
